Bird’s Eye View Camera System

The Bird’s Eye View 360-Degree Camera System is a great safety feature to add to your Rosenbauer Panther. While the 105 cubic feet of cab glass provides unsurpassed forward visibility, ARFF operators have limited visibility on the sides and rear of these large vehicles. The Bird’s Eye View Camera System consists of cameras mounted on all four sides of the vehicle. These cameras link to provide a single composite 360-degree overhead view on the cab LCS screen. This provides the driver with the view of all activity taking place around the vehicle to improve fireground safety.

Side cameras will display their image on the LCS screen when the corresponding blinker light is activated, and the rear camera is automatically displayed when the vehicle is placed in reverse gear. These functions provide visibility to blind spot locations to assist in safer driving practices.
