Visually See When Your ARFF Vehicle is Safe to Approach
Safe to Approach Lights are mounted at eye level on each side of the Panther, including the cab entry locations. The solid green lights provide a visual indication for personnel working around the vehicle that the parking brake is applied and it is safe to approach.
When the green lights are not illuminated, the parking brake is not set, and the vehicle could move. This warns personnel they should not approach the vehicle without approval from the driver.
